CompSAt has a project called the Package System, where all members are grouped into 4 packages based on the DOPE (Dove, Owl, Peacock, Eagle) Personality Test that was given after signing up at RecWeek. The packages this year are named after certain individuals who, with their supernatural strength and intelligence, make sure that the earth doesn’t explode or get destroyed by their sworn enemies. The main objective of this project is for everyone to fight crime and maintain justice in town the members in the packages to bond with each other. Each team is headed by 2 PackMans (Package Managers) who are responsible for making sure that their members are participating in the Package Tasks. Yes, Package Tasks. To be able to become competent agents of our humble agency, we will undergo tasks and trainings. When a Package Task is finished, points are rewarded to that package, and the package with the most points will earn prizes ranging from bragging rights to food. The package with the most accumulated points at the end of the year will receive a big surprise, so be prepared!

And as a bonus, the PackMans answered these questions as a chance to boast about their package: Why is your package the best? What makes your package different?

Captain America

The first package is Captain America. Its members are under the Dove Personality. Like the most patriotic person in America, these people are friendly and loving to others. They would rather help others instead of doing nothing, and so they would make great group mates. They may also tend to be reserved and shy, so they might need a little nudge for them to take an extra step.

Captain America PackMans Erika Cerezo and Justin Alonzo say:

“Captain America is the best because we are the peacemakers and the human bridges that bind people together and make CompSAt a better org. We resolve disputes and make our ties with each other stronger and tighter. Like being the typical Atenean, we are also men and women for others.”

Flash

Flash’s speed might be possible to exceed the speed of light, but when he hears a cry for help, he won’t hesitate to slow down, locate that cry and help it. Members from the Flash package are not necessarily the fastest runners in CompSAt, but they do win when it comes to being energetic and enthusiastic whenever they are with groups of people. People of the Peacock personality love being the center of attention, and like their colourfully feathered counterparts, these people would always show and share this energy to the people around them. You will definitely have a good time when you are with them.

Flash PackMans JM Santos and Moira Lozada say:

“We are the best because we are! With our speed, it will be very easy to chase and catch up with the other packages.”

Thor

The next package features the hot Norse God of Thunder that’s going for a second movie. Maybe the Eagle-personality members from the Thor Package do not have a special and powerful hammer that only they can hold and carry, but they do have something special that only the heavens can provide them: being bold and dominant. They may tend to become stubborn since they would like people to follow their way, but they will listen if you honestly tell them that you do not feel comfortable anymore.

Thor PackMans Japo Salas and Migs Sarmiento say:

“We are the best package because of Chris Hemsworth, and he also makes our package different.”

Batman

And last, but definitely not the least, nanananananana Batman!

Under that black mask is someone who uses the power of his mind to create change, just like its members. People under the Batman Package are those who have the Owl Personality. These people tend to think logically and would like to perform things step by step, especially if there are a set of rules to follow. Not that they always base their insights from algorithms and finite state machines, but when it comes to engaging in social activities, they would rather think of something witty and interesting to say than just blabbing and acting crazy to everyone. They also tend to be perfectionists, so don’t get annoyed if your Owl-personality group mate complains about very small details in your projects.

Batman PackMans Mico Maglaque and Carlo Serdanco say:

“I think our package is the best, because like Batman, we don’t need any superpowers to excel. All it takes is our pure skill and intellect. People can depend on us because of this, hence the common saying ‘Bahala na si Batman!’ – Of course, the package wouldn’t be the best if its members are also not the best.”

But of course, we should not look at people with this as the only basis. The DOPE Personality Test aims for the self-discovery of the person, not discrimination against them. There won’t be any consequences if you make friends with people from other packages, because even though your personalities clash based from the test, you wouldn’t really know if you’ll clash if you don’t talk to them. Even though all of us are different, there will always be things that will bring us together, like being members of CompSAt.
