ProgVar Lite – August 5 to September 11

Competitive programming is a relatively recent, mind-boggling “sport” With the aim of solving programming problems as quickly and as accurately as possible, the world of competitive programming is unexplored terrain for the majority of students… even Computer Science students. Since August 5, however, CompSAt has been handling ProgVar Lite – a gateway for students to delve into the world of competitive programming. Learn from Ateneo’s finest programmers and official Programming Varsity coaches and hone your programming skills!

Leadership and Development Program – September 15, September 19

Has leadership been the skill you’ve neglected to boost? Worry not! This September, CompSAt presents the Leadership Development Program, made especially for aspiring leaders. Experience first-hand just what it’s like to take the role of the front man/woman in a group. Take part in realistic modules that put you in situations that make you think quickly and have you on your feet. Ultimately, acquire the tools to help you grow, not just as a better leader but, as a better person altogether. There’s always room to improve, so why not do it sooner with CompSAt’s LDP?

Inter-University Programming Competition – September 13

               It’s clear which school soars the highest in the UAAP, but how about in the world of competitive programming? Find out in this momentous event: the Inter-University Programming Competition! Over 30 schools in the Philippines will compete to find out which school deserves the title of being the best programmers around. Mark September 13, 2014 on your calendars!

e-Drive– September 15 to September 19

               The 8th of November, 2013: Typhoon Yolanda, a.k.a. Typhoon Haiyan, shocked the world with its torrential might. To help with the relief efforts, CompSAt launched e-Drive, wherein electronic waste like old cellphones, batteries, and chargers were collected from fellow Ateneans to have them sent to a recycling plant. All the proceeds were used in the efforts to aid the hurricane’s victims. This year, we are proud to relaunch e-Drive, to once again help bring the rainbow after the rain.

Clash of the Clans – September

September definitely sounds like a wild month for CompSAt events, but what’s even wilder is the org’s most competitive project by far, the Clash of the Clans! Whose house will claim the throne this year among the different batches? Feel just what it’s like to have each other’s backs when you’re pitted against the other year levels in a fight to win the gold in this giant sports fest. Only the best compete with the best.
